Muhammadu Sani, a 12-year-old boy, has killed his 15-year-old girlfriend, Habiba Junaidu, in Damutawa Village, Jahun Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Sani was said to have shot the deceased at her back with a Dane gun while she was playing at her uncle’s house on Saturday.

He reportedly got the weapon from the deceased’s uncle’s house.

Zubairu Aminudeen Ismail, spokesman of the police in the state, said the suspect has been arrested and the gun recovered.
