Coach Gernot Rohr has made five changes to the team that picked up a 1-0 win against Guinea on Wednesday for the Super Eagles’ last Group B game against debutants, Madagascar on Sunday.
Captain John Mikel Obi and defender William Troost-Ekong return to the starting 11 after being benched for the Guinea game.
Leon Balogun retains his place in central defence, as well as Ola Aina, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo.
Alex Iwobi makes way for winger Samuel Kalu, who is making his first full start after the health scare he suffered on the eve of the tournament.
Also making their first starts, as well as playing their first game of the tournament are Ikechukwu Ezenwa, who is in goal for Daniel Akpeyi, and John Ogu, who replaces Wilfred Ndidi.
