The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group B alongside Guinea, debutants Madagascar and Burundi at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The draws were made in Cairo, Egypt, headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Friday.
The Eagles will open their campaign against Burundi.
Host Egypt are in Group A with DR Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe, Group C consist of Senegal, Algeria and Tanzania and Group D has three former AFCON winners South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Morocco with Namibia completing the group.
In Group E, Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania and Angola will do battle while defending champions Cameroon, former holders Ghana, Benin Republic and Guinea-Bissau will slug it out in Group F.
This year’s AFCON will run from 23 June to 19 July in four just cities in Egypt.
