The Super Eagles of Nigeria has been drawn in Group C, along side Cape Verde, Liberia and Central Africa Republic for the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying matches.
World football governing body, FIFA,  on Tuesday, unveiled the qualification procedure for the tournament, slated to take place between November 21 and December 18.

The qualifiers in Africa will begin in September this year with 28 countries involved in a knockout format. A total of 54 countries in ten groups from the continent will be participating in the preliminaries.
The mundial will be the last to involve 32 teams, with the 2026 edition expected to be expanded to 48 teams for the tournament in North America.
