A few months after the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, spoke at the prestigious Chatham House in the United Kingdom, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been invited to share his plans regarding what he will do for Nigeria if he wins the 2023 presidential election.
Obi announced the invitation in a tweet on Sunday, detailing that he will speak on his party’s vision for policy change and institutional reforms in Nigeria.
“I’ll be speaking at the Chatham House, London tomorrow afternoon (Monday, 16th January), on the vision for policy change and the institutional reforms that Labour Party, Datti, and I have for Nigeria,” Obi wrote.
Tinubu drew criticism from the general public when he spoke at Chatham House in 2022 after assigning members of his entourage to respond to questions from Nigerians living abroad about his plans for Nigerians if he wins the February election.
