26 days to the 2023 election, Senator Dino Melaye, the Spokesperson and Director Public Affairs of the Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), on Sunday accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of a plot to rig the poll.

NEWSBREAK reports that Melaye, a former federal lawmaker, alluded to a recent revelation by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), that there have been attempts to hack into the commission’s computer system ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The Kogi politician vowed that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), “will stop” the APC and clinch the presidency next month.

“As we know, the INEC chairman already raised an alarm on those trying to hack their server. Nigerians take note.

“For PDP, we will stop them….this is a promise,” Melaye wrote on his known Twitter handle.
