With 67 days to the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), met with former Kogi State Governor, Ibrahim Idris.
Newsbreak.ng reports that the meeting held on Sunday and also had in attendance another former governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada.
Speaking on the thrust of the meeting, the PDP candidate said he spoke with Idris about reconciling disgruntled party stakeholders in Kogi State.

“Earlier today, I met with the @OfficialPDPNig Kogi stakeholders. The essence of my meeting was to resolve internal differences and find ways to unite to Recover Nigeria.
“I encouraged former governor H.E Ibrahim Idris to lead the initiative to reconcile the stakeholders to ensure a united front for electoral success.
“We all have a role to play in our quest to win the election. As one, we can get it done,” Atiku wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night.
