Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has stated that he will defeat his opponents in the 2023 general elections in the same way as Arsenal defeated Chelsea in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Arsenal reclaimed first place in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The game, which began at 1:00 p.m., was blank at halftime, but North London broke the tie thanks to a Gabriel Magalhaes goal.

While thanking the Gunners, the former Vice President, who is also an Arsenal fan, promised to do the same for Nigerians during the presidential election in February 2023.

“Great win, Arsenal, especially after a goalless first half,” he tweeted on his official Twitter account. We will Recover Nigeria for Nigerians, just as Arsenal did for us, the fans, in this game.”
