Presidential hopeful and governor of Rivers State, Nysome Wike, has reportedly picked his successor.
According to Nigerians, Wike handpicked Felix Amaechi Obuah as his successor in 2023.
Newsbreak.ng recall that Felix Obuah popularly called ‘Empowerment Master’ recently came under serious pressure to join the governorship race by youths from all Council Areas in Rivers.
The youths, led by Comrade Njoku Damian Ebere, who promised to buy him the Governorship nomination form further threatened to take him to court should he fail to heed the call to join the governorship race on or before the end of April 2022.
They appealed to Nyesom Wike to endorse Obuah whom they said had demonstrated the capacity to sustain and improve on the governor’s developmental strides.
