President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) to apprehend and bring charges against politicians who bought Permanent Voters Cards from civilians in the run-up to the 2023 presidential election.

The announcement comes as the nation prepares for the general election of 2023, which is scheduled to take place between February and March of that year.

Politicians are allegedly using various tactics to sway voters, including the purported purchase of voter identification cards from poor Nigerians.
