A spokesperson of the TInubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has reacted to news of the suspension of Chimaroke Nnamani, by the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

Giving his reaction in a tweet on Saturday, Keyamo said the suspension is of no effect because the law says he remains a candidate of PDP.

“Waste of time; cutting your nose to spite your face. Suspension is of NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER at this time, because the law says he remains a CANDIDATE of the party. A party crumbling in the middle of campaigns! It is failure to respect its own constitution that is now hunting it!” Keyamo wrote.

His remark comes just after the main opposition PDP revealed that some of the party’s chieftains had been suspended for anti-party activities.

Newsbreak Nigeria had earlier reported that Nnamani was suspended alongside Ayo Fayose’s son and other big name in the Ekiti state’s wing of the party.
