The Lead Visioner, Lagos4Lagos Movement, Olajide Adediran (Jandor) has expressed his optimism that he can win the 2023 gubernatorial election in Lagos State without the blessings of colossal Nigerian politician, Bola Tinubu.
Newsbreak reports that Jandor on Wednesday defeated Dakova Kolawole after garnering 679 votes out of 709 available votes, to clinch the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship ticket in Lagos State.
Asked in a recent interview with Punch if he can become Lagos State Governor without the anointing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, Jandor replied: “Of course. If I have come this far without having anything to do with him, if I implode his party and take it away without having anything to do with him, of course, I can become the Lagos State governor without having anything to do with him, and I will become Lagos State governor without him.
“It will be the first thing he will see to know that democracy has returned to Lagos when somebody emerges as the governor without him. He won’t be there forever.”
