Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, says “the real enemy” of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Newsbreak.ng reports that Fani-Kayode, who is one of the spokespersons of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), dismissed the Labour Party’s challenge, branding the party “too small”.
“The real enemy for us, the real adversary, is not Labour Party, they are just too small. The real adversary are the PDP,” Fani-Kayode said in a recent interview with the BBC.
The Labour Party’s presidential flag-bearer is Peter Obi, who has a decent following, especially on social media.
The former Anambra State governor only joined the Labour Party in May, but some public commentators already mention him as one of the candidates to watch out for in next year’s election.
