Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign, says the endorsement of the All Progressives Congress (APC)presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by the leader of a faction of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, “seems odd” to him because he expected the pan-Yoruba group to invite the four leading candidates, just like the Arewa Joint Committee did in Kaduna State earlier this month.

Newsbreak.ng reports that ahead of the 2023 general elections, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, visited Pa Fasoranti at his residence in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Fasoranti, who briefly prayed for the APC candidate, simply declared, “Tinubu will win the election”.

I was expecting that Afenifere would invite the 4 leading candidates just like Arewa House did; but inviting only Tinubu seems odd to me. My cent

“I was expecting that Afenifere would invite the 4 leading candidates just like Arewa House did; but inviting only Tinubu seems odd to me. My cent,” Bwala wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday.
