The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 21-year-old lady, identified simply as Chidinma, for allegedly killing Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, in the Lekki area of the state.

Hakeem Odumosu, the Lagos Commissioner of Police, disclosed this while parading the suspect at the Police command headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday.

According to Odumosu, Chidinma confessed to the murder, adding that she was arrested at her parents’ home in Yaba on Wednesday night.

Chidinma, a 300-level student of Mass Communication, revealed that she was in a romantic relationship with Ataga for about four months before the incident.

She stated that she killed Ataga after an argument, explaining that she stabbed him twice before proceeding to withdraw N380,000 from his account.

The owner of the AirB’n’B (air mattress bed and breakfast) rented apartment where the murder occurred had earlier been arrested.
