A man reportedly hacked his 80-year-old grandmother, Maria Ogabi, to death at their No. 3, Erelu St., Ato-Awori, Ijanikin, Lagos.
The killer grandson, Christian Musendiku, was Monday arraigned before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The police told the court that the crime, which violates Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, was committed at about 1.00am.
The Chief magistrate, O.A. Adegite, ordered Musendiku’s remand in Ikoyi Prisons pending legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The case was adjourned until May 16.
