Priscilla Ojong, a 300-level Mass Communication student of Cross River University of Technology, has been declared missing.
The 22-year-old was said to have travelled from Calabar, the Cross River State capital, to Lagos State, three weeks ago on the invitation of a male friend.
However, it has been reported that she has not been seen or heard from since she left Calabar.
Her mobile phone is also said to be unreachable.
According to reports, two of Ojong’s friends who spoke to calitown, a journalist and publisher, said that the unknown male friend even credited her account with transport fare to Lagos.
One of the friends was quoted to have stated that she received a call from Ojong informing her that she had arrived Lagos safely and will be staying over for just one weekend.
But they became worried and called her line repeatedly when she did not return.
Her friends then contacted her parents in Akamkpa Local Government Area of the state, when they could not reach her.

“The visit to the bank was to obtain Priscilla’s bank statement in order to establish the identity of the person who invited her to Lagos.”
