Prof. Olayinka Adegbehingbe of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, has been freed by his abductors, Police have said.
Adegbehingbe, a lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, was said to have been kidnapped around Ikoyi, a town in the Isokan Local Government Area of Osun State.

His release was however confirmed by the Folasade Odoro, the state Police Public Relations Officer, on Monday.
