British pop singer, Adele had to tell jokes to her audience after a power failure at her concert in Adelaide, Australia on Monday night. The Grammy winning artiste’s performance was brought to a halt for four minutes as technicians battled to fix the problem.
She had politely asked parents with children in the audience if she could share a naughty joke. After she was met with a roar of approval, she asked, “What do you call a blonde standing on her head? A brunette with bad breath”.
The concert-goers praised the singer’s composure while the outage lasted.
”I have never laughed or cried so much in the same two hours. What an emotional roller coaster,” one user said.
”My Goodness Adele what a talent. Amazing voice, top banter. A brilliant show,” a woman said.
Adelaide was hit with 80,000 lightening strikes during the storm which plunged the state into darkness.
