The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday suffered an embarrassing 1-0 defeat against visiting Guinea Bissau in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifying match played in Abuja.
The visitors took the lead in the 29th minute through Mama Balde who benefited from a defensive error from the Nigerian defenders.
Nigerian players tried all they could to restore parity in the first half, but the visitors took their lead into the dressing room with Abuja fans in the stands angry.
Super Eagles have six points from their victory over Sao Tome E Principe and Sierra Leone.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for AFCON 2023 which will take place in Ivory Coast.
