The management of Lobi Stars in the face of strings of unimpressive performances climaxed by the round of 16 exit in the Aiteo Cup 2021 to a lower-tier Bayelsa United, has placed the Technical Adviser, Coach Kabiru Dogo and his assistants on half salary and a two-match pay cut ultimatum to the players.

Addressing the team ahead of an NPFL fixture against Katsina United, the Vice Chairman Lobi Stars Mr Emmanuel Tama Aondofa expressed his displeasure over poor away results in the league and the Aiteo Cup ouster and lamented lack of commitment to work by the technical crew and the playing staff.

Mr Aondofa said, that if the results of games and the general performance of the team are not improved In the next two games, the management will be left with no choice than to further enforce the pay cut decision on the players too.

The half pay decision on the coaches takes immediate effect while the ultimatum on players begins with the match day 33 game of Katsina United vs Lobi Stars billed for Sunday July 18, 2021 in Katsina.
