There are claims the ailing son of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf, is to be flown to Germany for urgent medical attention. Yusuf was involved in a motorbike racing accident
in Gwanripa, Abuja last December, when he broke his neck and limbs.
According to Saharareporters, Yusuf would be airlifted Wednesday night to the St. Josefs Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany, where he will receive comprehensive treatment that may last weeks.
He is expected to be accompanied to Germany by his mother, Aisha Buhari, among others.
Medical sources said Yusuf had remained largely unresponsive to treatment at Cedarcrest Hospital Abuja where he was first taken after the bike accident in Abuja. The report comes days after the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari claimed her son’s condition had become stable.
However, Newsbreak.ng could not ascertain the story. A similar story by TheCable that Yusuf Buhari was flown abroad shortly after the accident was debunked, while the newspaper retracted.
