The eight days long ceremony of the 2022 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards saw fashion designers, models, and celebrities hitting the runway for the Day 2 AMVCA fashion show.
The event was held at Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. The red carpet had celebrities from Uti Nwachukwu, to BBNAIJA housemates, movie stars, music artists, popular content creators, show hosts, pressmen, fashion lovers and the general public.
Hosts of the evening were Miz Vick, a media personality who has previously worked on shows like BBN and fashion designer and illustrator, Mai Atafo
The runway was filled with glitz from the top 9 designers selected by African Magic talent factory. They include Amy Aghomi, Azeezat Alawusa, Ezioghene Egbelefiyo, Felix Asuquo, Ikechukwu Nwosu, Obinna Omeruo, Omowunmi Pillot, Oseluese Okpamen, and Sophie Chamberlain.
The judges for the fashion show were BBNaija host – Ebuka OBI Uchendu, Stephanie Coker, Denola Grey.
Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice Nigeria, Dr. Busola Tejumola said: “From costumes to red carpets, the role that fashion plays in film cannot be overestimated. Our continent is blessed with some of the most talented fashion designers and creatives you will find anywhere in the world.
“This is why, in line with our commitment to continually support local talents, we are beaming the spotlight on this very important element of film for this edition of the awards.”
