Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation, has inaugurated an 11-man committee to investigate the allegation of financial misappropriation against Hadiza Bala-Usman, the suspended Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

Bala-Usman was suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari last week, following allegation of non-remittance of N165 billion surplus revenue to the coffers of government.

However, she denied any wrongdoing, saying that all funds were adequately remitted to the appropriate government agency.
