America’s Youngest Murder Convict Regains Freedom

fCurtis Jones, who was said to be America’s youngest murder convict, has regained his freedom. Jones, at 12, killed his father’s girlfriend, Sonya Nicole Speights. Jones conspirator in the crime was his 13-year-old sister, Catherine Jones. Now, 29 years, Jones is to have a taste of life outside the high walls. According to reports, Jones and his sister had planned to kill their father and his girlfriend, for ignoring their cry for help. Florida Department of Corrections said Curtis has not been disciplined for any rule infractions since 2008 and is now an ordained minister, while his sister, Catherine Jones, is scheduled to be released from Hernando Correctional Institution in a couple of weeks.
