Newsbreak reports that popular Kenyan politician, Wavinya Ndeti Oduwole, a governorship hopeful for Machakos in the 2022 election, has shared a photo of herself during her graduation amid strong rumours of her having never graduated.
Through her verified Facebook page, Wavinya on Tuesday shared the picture with a caption remarking how time flies.
“A rare photo of a young girl whose dreams her parent’s believed in, and supported exponentially! How time really flies!” Wavinya noted.
Earlier, a notice allegedly from London South Bank University where the politician was an alumnus said the gubernatorial hopeful did not attend nor graduate from the institution. This news medium cannot authenticate the purported letter though.
“The South Bank University United Kingdom wishes to notify members of the public that Ms Wavinya Ndeti did not graduate from this institution as she alleges. The university therefore issues this warning to Ms Wavinya Ndeti not to present fake academic papers purporting to have been acquired at this distinguished institution,” the notice read in part.
The move by Wavinya comes as politicians try to validate their academic credentials as allegations of some hopefuls using fake academic papers to seek clearance from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) emerge.

Wavinya Ndeti was married to Prince Henry Dolamu Oduwole, who passed away in September 2016 at a Nairobi hospital where he was rushed after his blood pressure shot up drastically.
It was in London, United Kingdom (UK) that Wavinya Ndeti met her Nigerian husband, Dolamu Henry Oduwole. Together, they had three children.
