Anambra Poll: APGA Floors PDP’s Peter Obi In His Local Govt

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), with Prof. Charles Soludo as its flag bearer, has defeated the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Peter Obi, in his own local government, Anaocha Local Government Area in the Anambra governorship election.

According to the result announced by the collation officer of Anaocha LGA on Sunday, APGA polled 6,911 votes, using over 1,000 votes to gap the next party, the PDP which got 5,108 votes.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) garnered 2,085 votes in the LGA.
