Jide Awe, All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Ekiti state, might have confirmed Governor Ayodele Fayose’s concern that the party was nursing an ambition to seek a judicial review of court rulings, which affirmed his election. Fayose had said the APC intended to use the outcomes of the ongoing military panel at the Supreme Court to remove him from office. Speaking, Awe said: “As far as the APC is concerned, since the military has taken up the matter on the role of its officers during the exercise, we will allow the exercise to follow due process”.
“We will not engage Fayose until the report of the military report is out. We have respect for institutions,” Mr Awe stressed.
