All Progressives Congress, APC, has won the Bwari, FCT council election. It was also a win for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Ife Centra bye-election, in Osun state. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday declared APC’s Musa Dikko as winner of Bwari Area council poll. The commission also said PDP’s Dipo Eluwole triumphed in the Ife Central bye election. INEC said Dikko scored 18,066 votes to defeat PDP’s candidate Andrew Gwani in the Bwari poll. In the Ife Central bye-election, Eluwole was recorded 5,504 votes as against Accord Party’s Olusegun Fanibe’s 4,790 votes. APC candidate Tilewa Sijuwade garnered 4,587 votes.
