A broadcast journalist and presenter with ARISE TV, Oseni Rufai has been fined the sum of N70,000 and his vehicle returned to him for breaking the traffic law in Lagos State.

Newsbreak.ng reported that Rufai was caught driving on the BRT lane when he was stopped by men of the Lagos State Task Force.

However, things escalated as Rufia alleged that a loaded gun was pointed at his face.

Giving an update on the matter, the Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said Rufai was arraigned and fined 70,000 for the infraction.

He tweeted, “UPDATE: Mr Rufai Oseni was in court earlier today. He was found guilty of contravening Lagos State Transport Law (2018). He was subsequently fined Seventy Thousand Naira Only. He made the payment, after which his vehicle was released to him.”
