Arsenal midfielder, Mathieu Flamini, has been told he can leave the club before the transfer window closes later today.
The move will relieve Arsenal of Flamini’s £60,000 weekly wage.
Mathieu Flamini had earlier turned down an interest from Turkish club, Galatasaray in a move that could see him re-unite him with former Gunners frontman, Lukas Podolski.
Flamini originally joined Wenger’s side back in 2004 after signing from Marseille and became a crucial cog in the midfield.
He departed in 2008 and spent five years at AC Milan before rejoining the Gunners on a free transfer in 2013.
Flamini however faces a difficult task to get himself a club as major leagues have since shut their transfer window.
