Arsneal have scored the best team goal of the 2016-17 season UEFA Champions League. The Gunners’ Lucas scored at Basel after 33 completed passes to seal the record for the visitors. The gunners were 1-4 winners over Granit Xhaka’s former club and topped the table after Paris Saint Germain survived Ludogorets scare to end the game at 2-2.
The summer signing went on to add a third to complete his hat-trick before Alex Iwobi wrapped up a 4-1 win as Arsenal finished as Group A. Arsenal could now face either Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid in the next round or Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Porto or FC Copenhagen.
The Champions League group stage concludes on Wednesday.
