Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign, on Wednesday said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is an anti-Igbo party.
Newsbreak.ng reports that citing the recent remarks of the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, where the governor dismissed the significance of southeast votes, Bwala accused Governor Ganduje of disrespect for Igbo people.
Recall that speaking on Channels TV on Monday, Ganduje had said votes from one local government area in his state give the APC more votes than the entire South-East geopolitical zone.
He also said the emergence of Peter Obi as the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 election is good news for the APC because according to him, it will only affect the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“When I say APC is not a party for Ndi Igbos, people do not realize what I mean. With disdain Ganduje dismissed the votes APC got from the entire South East as not up to a local government in Kano. And you are in Labour to bring back APC without knowing,” Bwala wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
