Several Nollywood actors have blasted their colleague, Yomi Fabiyi, over his new movie, entitled: “Oko Iyabo.”
“Oko Iyabo” depicts the situation currently playing out between Iyabo Ojo, an actress; popular comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, better known as Princess, and their vocal opposition against the action of Olanrewaju James Omiyinka, an actor popularly known as Baba Ijesha, who is currently involved in a sexual assault case.
Actors Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Aigbe, Adah Ameh, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode took to different social media platforms to lambast Fabiyi over the movie, describing it as insensitive.
Iyabo Ojo expressed her disgust over the new released film and called the attention of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) to look into the matter.
Tonto Dikeh also blasted Fabiyi, saying she had expected more from him.
Mercy Aigbe called him a disgrace, mocker, insensitve and distasteful.
Adah Ameh also blasted him in a video she made and said he was a disgrace to manhood and a mocker.
Bolanle NInalowo threatened to give Fabiyi the beatings of his life if ever they cross paths.
Oladutun Kayode has called Fabiyi a shameless idiot and inhumane.
The movie was published on YouTube by Fabiyi and it elicited numerous reactions from viewers, who posted mainly negative reviews.
Consequently, Fabiyi has been summoned by TAMPAN and the movie has been taken off YouTube.
