Real Madrid’s directors have suspected that German giants, Bayern Munich are the force behind their transfer ban. According to speculative reports in Spain, the Bundesliga outfit convinced the governing body to open an investigation into Real and Atletico’s signing of underage players. It is also rumoured that the German club could have taken the action to block the Madrid club from placing a bid for their priced striker, Robert Lewandowski.

The Spanish media also report that the ban, which was handed to Barcelona last year, came from anonymous tip-offs. The club will not be able to sign any player in the summer or next January if the ban is upheld. The transfers under probe are involving two sons of the present coach, Zinedine Zidane.
