La Liga champions, Barcelona have reportedly launched a fresh £55 million bid for Chelsea winger, Willian.
It is believed that the bid is the third offer the Catalans are putting on the table for the Brazilian.
According to AFP, the Blaugrana have already failed in the earlier attempts to sign the former Shahktar Donetsk player, saying Barcelona have “added a couple of million euros for this third offer to the Blues”.
Sky Sports reports that should the deal scale through, Willian will occupy the club’s final non-EU slot left open by Paulinho’s recent exit.
Kia Joorabchian, who is also Willian’s agent, oversaw Paulinho’s entrance and exit to the Camp Nou, and Philippe Coutinho’s transfer to the club last January.
However, the Spanish giants are said to have other alternative to Willian, incase the deal falls through. Barcelona are eyeing Frenkie de Jong and Adrien Rabiot as replacement for Andres Iniesta. The club are also prepared to allow Andre Gomes leave.
