Barcelona have signed Netherlands midfielder Frenkie De Jong from Ajax.
The deal is believed to be up to €75 million plus add-ons.
The 21-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought-after young players after impressing in the Ajax midfield since making his debut in 2016.
De Jong’s profile rose further when he broke into the Netherlands side earlier this campaign.
Manchester City were previously thought to be leading the race after telling Ajax they were willing to pay €70 million plus €20 million in bonuses to sign De Jong.
