Barcelona midfielder, Phillipe Coutinho, is said to be tempted by Manchester United’s interest, a report has said.
According to Dailymail, the Brazilian has become increasingly unhappy with his continued stay on the bench at the club.
But while United have made interest contact with the player’s agency, Coutinho is said to have no interest in leaving the Nou Camp in January, having fought hard to secure the move from Liverpool.
Spanish publication, Mundo Deportivo, also reports that Coutinho, who has been left out of the starting line up in the last four league matches, is believed to be unhappy with his role being lost to France’s Ousmane Dembele.
Coutinho became the club’s most expensive signing in history, when he joined for £145million from Liverpool last season.
However, the report added that the player is willing to wait for his time at the club.
He has been keen to impress Ernesto Valverde and, he played in a decisive role position in the Copa del Rey first leg defeat to Levante last Thursday.
It is also being reported that family ties also play a role in the situation, with Coutinho and his partner, Aine, recently welcomed their second daughter in Barcelona.
