Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, on Sunday, hosted two governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his residence in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
The governors are, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State and Kebbi State’s Atiku Bagudu.
Badaru is the chairman of the APC campaign council for the Bayelsa governorship election, while Bagudu is a member of the campaign council.
Ita Enang, a former aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, was also among the delegation of APC leaders who visited the former president.
Patience Jonathan, former first lady, also received the opposition leaders, who were in the state to deliver it for their party in the election.

The APC candidate, David Lyon, was declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), who said he secured a landslide victory.
However, it is not clear if the visit was before or after INEC declared Lyon winner of the election.
It was reported that Jonathan’s kinsmen celebrated openly, when APC emerged victorious in Ogbia, his Local Government.
There are reports that Jonathan was not in support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his party, in the state during the election.
He was absent at a mega rally held for Duoye Diri, the PDP’s candidate, ahead of the election.
