Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, will kick off the first edition of the BBC Thursday night ‘Premier League Show’.
BBC will launch the new midweek programme for the new Premier League season as Klopp takes part in an in-depth interview on the first edition.
The magazine-format programme will focus on detailed discussions with the top flight’s biggest stars and will be hosted by Gabby Logan.
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker will present regular stand-alone features as part of the show, which will be based at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
The first edition of the show will be broadcast a week and a half after the start of the new season on Thursday, August 25. Ian Wright will join Logan on the programme.
Steve Rudge, the lead executive for BBC football, said: ‘As excitement builds towards the new football season, we are delighted to announce our extensive offering which now includes the new mid-week magazine programme.
