Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Liquorose, emerged as the fifth Head of House of the season.
The energetic dancer, who has shown how enthusiastic she is when it comes to tasks, successfully accumulated the highest number of points during the Head of House games on Monday.
The immediate past head of house, Maria, subsequently handed over the symbol of authority, the HoH chain, to the new Head of House.
Liquorose picked Saga as her deputy but with the former barred from entering the HoH lounge, Saga had to pick one housemate with who he would share the room. He, as expected, chose Nini, his love interest in the house.
Viewers had expected that Liquorose would pick Emmanuel since the duo have been romantically linked since the commencement of the show.
Housemates were then asked to nominate two housemates for possible eviction on Sunday.
At the end of the nomination process, Pere, Queen, Peace, Sammie, JMK and Maria were out up for possible eviction.
Liquorose, who as HoH, has the veto power and was asked by Big Brother to save a housemate and replace with another.
The new HoH saved Peace and replaced her with Cross.
Subsequently, Pere, Maria and JMK were issued a strike by Big Brother for various infringements. Two more strikes and they will be disqualified.
They have also been banned from the Head of House privileges should they win subsequent HoH tasks.
