Founder of Silverbird Groups and a former senator, Ben Murray Bruce, has warned the Department of States Services (DSS) against the illegal arrest of the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

Issuing the warning shortly after an Abuja High Court, threw out a DSS suit seeking to arrest Emefiele, Ben-Bruce in a tweet warned that the attempt to arrest the CBN governor will not stand.

He argued that the economic move recently taken by the apex bank governor affects every political party.

“The attempt to arrest Emefiele will not stand. The election is around the corner, and something like this will send too bad a signal to the international community. The new ATM limits affect all political parties,” Ben-Bruce wrote.
