Separatists militants suspected to be armed loyalists of the Biafra Nations League (BnL) have abducted three oil workers, carting away their boat and safety equipments in Atabong, Bakassi Peninsula.
Newsbreak.ng gathered that the workers encountered the militants on their way to work at about 9 am.
The separatists before fleeing released several bullets to disperse security operatives guiding two vessels but were overwhelmed.
On Friday, the leader of BnL, Princewill Chimezie Richards, was seen in a video driving around the Peninsula with some of his members.
Bakassi is the operational headquarters of the group. Abana is an area controlled by Cameroon.
