Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, stated on Tuesday that he has evidence to support assertions that All Progressives Congress presidential contender Bola Tinubu is a notorious drug lord.
Mr Omokri made these remarks during an appearance on Arise Tv on Tuesday, in response to inquiries about the reasons behind his hobby of bashing Peter Obi and Tinubu.
The Arise TV journalist accused Omokri of assaulting candidates who were of opposing political sentiment rather than focusing on issues in his candidate’s campaign manifesto.
In response to the journalist claims, Omokri claimed that he was correct to attack the presidential candidates in this manner, claiming that calling the presidential candidate a druglord is not an unprintable name.
“Bola Tinubu is a known druglord it s not an unprintable word, I have got facts to back it up, I’ve got documents to back it up, I spent my money i went to Chicago, I went to the court, I got the certified true copies, Bola Tinubu is a druglord, that is not an unprintable name,” Omokri said.
Omokri, who served during Jonathan’s government and is well-known for his continuous criticism of Obi and Tinubu, is a staunch supporter of Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition.
