Former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, has stepped down from the ongoing primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Newsbreak reports that according to Amosun, “in the spirit of consensus building, I have stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
Earlier, former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, also announced he is withdrawing from the presidential race. He declared his support for Tinubu as well.
