Human Rights lawyer, Femi Falana says the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike will soon be over.

Falana, who is also ASUU’s lawyer, disclosed this while speaking at a Book Launch by Lanre Arogundade, “Breaking Coconut With Your Head,” at Events Centre, Agidingbi, Lagos.

However, Falana said he couldn’t disclose how the 8-month-old strike will be resolved for confidentiality’s sake.

The Court of Appeal on Friday ordered the striking Union to return to class.

The court gave the order after dismissing the union’s application for a stay of execution of an earlier ruling of the National Industrial Court directing the university lecturers to resume work.

Speaking on the situation of the country, Falana said Nigeria is broken down and its engine needs to be changed.
