Liverpool defeated Chelsea 6-5 on penalties in the FA Cup final on Saturday to become the winner of the 2022 edition of the competition, Newsbreak reports.

At the end of a not-too-fantastic 90 minutes plus extra time, there was no goal to separate the two sides at the Wembley Stadium in London.

It is the second trophy Liverpool would snatch from Chelsea’s hands this season following their Carabao Cup success in February at the same ground. At the time, Liverpool also won via shootouts.
