Unknown gunmen on Monday night stormed the home of Labour Party’s women leader in Kaduna State, Mrs. Victoria Chintex and shot her dead.
It was learnt that Chintex, was the Labour Party’s women leader of Kaura, Kaduna State.
Her husband was also said to have sustained injuries from shots in his leg, PM News reports.
Edward Simon Buju, the Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Zone 3, Kaduna State, confirmed the assassination of the women leader.
He called on the people of Kaura Local Government and the party faithful to be law abiding, urging the police to investigate the murder and bring the perpetrators of the dastard act to book.
