The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the ongoing Continuous Voters’ Registration (CVR) exercise by 60 days, Newsbreak reports.

The exercise was initially slated to end this month, but due to recent increase in registrants across the South-East states and Lagos most especially, the electoral body was forced to extend the deadline.

Also, the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had stopped the electoral body from ending the exercise.
