Three new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Lagos State.

This was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a post on its Twitter handle on Sunday.
According to the NCDC, all three cases returned from high-risk countries in the last seven days.
“On the 22nd of March 2020, three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, twenty-five(25) cases have been confirmed, two cases have been discharged and there has been no death from COVID-19 in Nigeria.
“All 3 cases were reported in Lagos State, & have travel history to high-risk countries in the last 7 days
“We’re working closely with @LSMOH to identify & follow up with contacts,” the tweet read.

The centre also urged Nigerians who just returned to the country in the last 14 days from countries deemed as high-risk countries of the Coronavirus to self-isolate at home.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 26, although the NCDC has yet to confirm the Oyo State case as announced by Seyi Makinde, the state’s governor, on Sunday.
